Tomorrow, Wednesday 24 April, at 6.00 pm, in the Council Room of the Municipality of Lamezia Terme “Mons. Luisi”, the press conference will be held to present the “Group C of the Regions Five-a-side Football Tournament”
The event will see the participation of the U15 – U17 – U19 and Women’s teams from the regions of Sicily, Sardinia, Liguria and Molise.
The Regions Tournament, which will involve over 1300 people including athletes, managers, technicians and referees, will take place from 25 April to 1 May in ten cities in four provinces of Calabria, with impressive numbers: 127 matches in fourteen arenas. The event will also have a significant impact on sports tourism, with the 73 representatives staying in 18 accommodation facilities in four provinces of Calabria.
The races, scheduled for 25, 26 and 27 April, will take place simultaneously at the “Alfio Sparti” sports halls in Lamezia Terme and the Amantea sports hall.
In addition to the local authorities, the Regional Councilors of the FIGC-LND, Antonio Caroleo and Vincenzo Insardà, will be present at the presentation ceremony.
This event represents an important opportunity for the promotion of youth sport and for the meeting between the different regional realities, in a climate of healthy competition and collaboration.
