Costacurta focuses on the fans in his speech on the next Milan manager: here’s what has changed compared to the past
Speaking after the Sassuolo-Inter match last night on the networks Sky Sports, former AC Milan defender Alessandro Costacurta spoke about the search for the next Rossoneri coach focusing above all on the fans. For Costacurta, Milan fans need to dream and it is for this reason that they responded negatively en masse to the rumors about Julen Lopetegui.

Costacurta explains that living in Milan “meets many AC Milan fans“, fans who “they want to dream“: “Lopetegui didn’t make them dream… there are some names that make you dream and others don’t, the fans must dream“.
The former defender then launches into a comparison with the past, explaining why the Milan fan went from dreaming of the stars to dreaming of the coach: “There were periods, I’m thinking of Berlusconi’s, in which the coach wasn’t so important because the stars came so often. And in fact Sacchi arrived first, then Capello. Now the stars can’t arrive and the fans, in my opinion, have to focus on someone who makes them dream“.
