New Cultural Centre: work begins on the former school in Piazza Marconi in Pero
Descriptive text here

Work has begun on the demolition of the former school building in Piazza Marconi in Pero, as part of the New Cultural Center project which will redevelop the square by redefining its spaces and functions. The first phase will lead to the demolition of the central body of the building, while the subsequent ones will involve the right wing, overlooking via Turati, and, subsequently, the left wing, which overlooks via Pace. The demolition operations are expected to be completed by the end of June.

In order to minimize the impact on the surrounding areas, in the various demolition phases, the company in charge has guaranteed that the latest generation of silent vehicles will be used, that nebulizers will be activated to reduce dust and that measures will be put in place to limit the acoustic and visual impact of operations in the construction site area towards the external environment. If necessary, communication channels will be used aimed at the different categories of potentially interested parties, in relation to the developments of the demolition activities.

All useful information will be available on the institutional channels of the Municipality, while the official channels dedicated to the New Cultural Center project will continue to collect updates and insights on construction site life.
