VERONA – There were two men arrested after attempting to rob a home. It happened yesterday evening, Monday 22 April. Specifically, a resident of via dei Gelsi contacted the Carabinieri Operations Center to report that he had noticed two subjects climbing over the fence of an uninhabited house after the recent death of the elderly owners, providing the operator with a precise description of the fugitive couple. The latter, having moved cautiously with the light of an electric torch, then broke the glass of one of the windows with a stone to gain access to the interior of the house.

Having realized the arrival of the Carabinieri’s patrols, the two quickly began to flee through the gardens of the neighboring houses, thus thinking of evading the soldiers who, instead, were able to count on the decisive help of the residents who gradually reported the position of the soldiers. fugitives: they were finally blocked along Via della Prateria. This is a 23-year-old Kosovar citizen and a 22-year-old Albanian, both known to the Police Force.
