The START IN ROME event was held on 19 April, organized by the Confcommercio Roma Young Entrepreneurs Group on the occasion of the first National Made in Italy Day.

The event was not held in just any setting, but at The Hub, the splendid headquarters of Zest Group, near Termini station. Zest, born from the union of LVenture Group and Digital Magic, is a market leader in Italy and among the European leaders in early stage venture investments and in startup acceleration and Open Innovation.

Among those invited to the round table to talk about innovation and entrepreneurship in step with the times, there was also Andrea Lucchesi, co-founder of Then, a consultancy company that designs and improves digital services and products. Then, thanks to an innovative approach in the management of the work team made of absolute flexibility, can count on the best experienced professionals in Italy, and has a continually growing team.

“Rome is a city that has infinite possibilities to promote real, tangible and sustainable change – declared Lucchesi at the round table – if I look at who was there, if I think back to the words that were said, I believe that this is the the right time to realize this change with joint work between politics, business and citizens. During her introductory speech, councilor Monica Lucarelli invited young entrepreneurs and new realities (like Then) to be disruptive, not to be afraid to propose, dare and, why not, make mistakes. We at Then will take it literally, convinced as we are that innovation is a daily practice to be renewed day after day”.

But Lucchesi’s commitments did not end here, on 22 April, in fact, he participated in another round table, in a setting of absolute importance: the Chamber of Deputies.
The occasion was the meeting organized by the Italian Liberal Institute which involved Confindustria, the European Confederation of Small Businesses (CEPI) and Confcommercio.

Lucchesi was invited as a co-founder of an innovative company like Then. At the center of the meeting was, in fact, innovation understood as a resource for all sectors of Made in Italy excellence, for which a further change of pace and greater openness to customer needs was hoped for, without distort its own history, but riding the new possibilities which it is impossible not to take into account.

Just like Then did, whose important results in recent months can be attributed precisely to an ever-vigilant gaze ready to welcome innovation.
