Girl crashed in Pirgo, video surveillance images are being examined

The Carabinieri’s investigations continue unabated to shed full light on the causes that led to the fall of the seventeen-year-old from Civitavecchia from the wall that runs along the Thaon de Revel seafront and the subsequent impact on the beach below. In the last few hours the military has acquired images from the many surveillance cameras present in the area, especially set up outside the many public places present.

The interrogations of the friends with whom the girl, still hospitalized with a reserved prognosis at the Gemelli Polyclinic in Rome, was celebrating her birthday and with other witnesses who were able to witness the accident also began. The investigators also want to verify how much the presence of a small construction site in the immediate surrounding area may have had an impact. Meanwhile, the conditions of the girl, who is not in danger of her life, remain stationary, with the doctors planning the moment in which she will be progressively brought out of the pharmacologically induced coma as soon as the surgery to eliminate the cranial hematoma caused by the impact with the ground.
Just yesterday the young woman underwent a CT scan, which still showed swelling, caused by the strong impact that followed the terrible fall. The doctors’ choice was therefore to leave her sedated for a whole day, in order to make her awakening even more gradual, which will probably be attempted today.
Meanwhile, the entire city continues to rally around the girl’s family through messages, comments and thoughts aimed in particular at the parents, who are obviously closely following all the delicate phases of the 17-year-old in intensive care.
