The fourth place achieved in Riccione (RN) by Andrea Antonioni, the best of the Allievi DS Filippo Beltrami and Samuele Mancinelli team in their fifth official outing of the season, is an excellent result. The race in Romagna took on a clear direction with four laps to go, when Antonioni managed to join the decisive breakaway together with five other riders.
In the end the winner was Giacomo Campidelli from Fiumicinese (FC), already victorious the previous Sunday in Bastia Umbra (PG). However, among the orange-lobster riders, Mirko Sgherri’s eighth position should not be despised, while Matteo Magnoni was unlucky having to throw in the towel due to the consequences of a fall. The rookies of DS Gabriele Gorini instead experienced two days of racing in the L’Aquila area, initially competing in a time trial on the city circuit of the historic village of Corfinio. In what was the first capital of Italy, over two thousand years ago, the boys of president Graziano Vitali behaved well. Above all, Riccardo Agostini and Simone Ringhini, who ranked seventeenth and twenty-second respectively, ahead of their teammates Marco Amadori, Kevin Piccioli, Edoardo Smacchia, Diego Giannetti and Federico Pogliaghi, who placed within the top 40 in the ranking. Then he had a rather tough route in Raiano, especially due to the up and down climbs which were quite technical for the category, although very suggestive with the snow-capped mountains as a backdrop. In this second event, Ringhini particularly stood out, ninth among the 1st Years. Positive is the fact that the other six standard bearers of SCD Alma Juventus Fano also completed the effort, which is not at all a given given that they are new experiences for them. Obviously the track faced by the Giovanissimi of DS Giovanni Ambrosini was less demanding, but in Rimini they challenged themselves on a narrow track with many curves. The orange-lobster team celebrated the victory of Ginevra Agostini among the G2, Davide Leonardi fifth among the G4 and Diego Giannetti among the G5.
