The Trapani City Council met again last night, with many new features within the majority. In fact, two new advisory groups have been formed. This is the “Polis with consistency” group, with group leader councilor Salvatore Daidone, councilor Sonia Tumbarello vice-president and Claudia La Barbera as secretary.
The second group, however, is that of “RiGenerAzioni – Green Europe”, made up of Baldassare Cammareri who will be the group leader, Giovanni Parisi and the young councilors Angela Grignano and Andrea Genco.
These two choices arose due to the different fibrillations within the majority and the failure of the councilors to share common paths.
Both groups will clearly continue to support the government majority led by Mayor Giacomo Tranchida.
However, the directors Francesco Briale and Annalisa Bianco continue to be independent. The president of the city council had left the council group where she was elected, that of “Trapani tua” last March, while continuing to support the government program.
Meanwhile, on the administrative side, the extension of the temporary exercise of the Municipality of Trapani was approved yesterday. We are therefore waiting for the 2024-2026 budget forecast which, it would seem, will arrive in the council in the next few days. Immediately after approval, however, the document will be in the hands of the city council.
