TURIN (ITALPRESS) – The Friday evening preview of the 35th matchday of the championship ends in a goalless draw at the Olimpico Grande Torino, where the hosts Granata impact a Bologna team that is increasingly closer to mathematically qualifying for the next edition of the Champions League. Juric launches Vlasic behind Sanabria and Zapata. Two changes for Thiago Motta compared to the eleven that drew with Udinese at the Dall’Ara: Calafiori returns to the starting line-up in place of the suspended Beukema, Fabbian finds space in midfield with El Azzouzi starting from the bench. Bologna had more ball possession in a first half in which Torino came closest to scoring. The initial study phase ends after the quarter of an hour when the grenades press and slam twice into the wall erected by the opposing rearguard which transforms the action from defensive to offensive: Zirkzee slips into space and kicks diagonally, sending a very narrow shot to side. The guests try to change gear at the start of the second half and Zirkzee comes on with a powerful and imprecise attempt. Aebischer takes the goal with a shot from distance, but Milinkovic Savic is attentive and shoots for a corner. In the middle of the half there was a ring from Toro: a cross from the left which the defense rejected badly, the ball became good for Ilic whose sure shot was blocked by Skorupski with Zapata and Sanabria obstructing each other at the moment of the rebound. This leads to a final match in which both teams try to win, but neither manages to win. The Granata claim a penalty, not awarded by Sozza, for a slight contact in the rossoblu area between Aebischer and Buongiorno. On the opposite front, an imprudent back pass by Vojvoda puts Milinkovic in difficulty who hits the substitute Orsolini but without any negative consequences for his goal. In injury time, the last thrill on an inactive ball for Bologna, with the Granata goalkeeper cool in blocking the loose ball in the area.
