The provincial committee of the Anpi of Beneventor with its local sections is preparing to celebrate April 25th, Liberation Day from Nazi-fascist oppression.
There have already been numerous initiatives that the association has held in Benevento and its province in the month of April, with particular attention to meetings in schools with the young generations.
Still Wednesday 24th In addition to other morning meetings in schools, two afternoon initiatives are planned. At 5.15pm the Benevento section will honor the memory of the partisan Maria Penna by placing flowers at the plaque located near the Ciro Vigorito municipal stadium. At 6pm, however, in collaboration with the Ubik bookshop, a reflection on women and Resistance starting from the novel “Dalla parte di LEI” by Alba De Céspedes
Thursday 25 April it will be, as per tradition, a day of memory and commitment with the traditional procession that will parade along the central Corso Garibaldi. It will be a unitary and plural demonstration, as the Anpi has been trying to achieve for years, which will lead to a parade through the capital of the capital, associations, trade unions, political parties, citizens united by the anti-fascist spirit which is the basis of our Republic and its Constitution. At the end of the procession the speeches will be closed by the provincial president Amerigo Ciervo.
In the evening conclusion at the Spina Verde Auditorium “A. Tanga” where at 8.00 pm the show “Nilde e le altre” will be staged, written by Alda Parrella, directed by Linda Ocone. The show is produced by the Tecla Cultural Association, in collaboration with Letture e Culture APS and sponsored by the Provincial ANPI of Benevento.
