This morning at Victory Morgana Bay the team of ‘Sanremo at the Center‘, civic list in support of Alessandro Mager.
The list was presented by the creator of ‘Sanremo al Centro’ and outgoing mayor, Alberto Biancheri: “We are here because this has a strong symbolic value for us: we are between the two ports, where two of the most important redevelopment operations of recent years have been launched which will profoundly change Sanremo, where our dreams were born, in a vision of continuity with Claudio Borea’s project with the Pigna-Mare and via Matteotti and then Piazza Eroi, the old port, the demolition of the eco-monster. Here there is a project of continuity and vision. The vision of the city in the coming years will be fundamental to continue the development of these years, improving what needs to be improved”.
On the list: “’Sanremo al Centro’ has chosen 24 people, 11 women and 13 men, but above all 14 new faces with different ideas, proposals, stories, identities and cultures, we get involved for many reasons. Each of them has a dream and there is a strong desire to get involved to improve the city, alongside the outgoing administrators, to whom I have my respect and friendship, who with their experience will guide this group of people” .
On the political project: “We have chosen to support Alessandro Mager, a person of important professional and human abilities, because he has chosen a civic line with which we identify. Ours – explained the outgoing mayor – was a different project with other components that are not there now. Now there is a new project.”
The presentation of the ‘Sanremo al Centro’ list saw the heartfelt public return of deputy mayor Costanza Pireri, welcomed by everyone’s embrace and enthusiasm: “I have felt you all very close in recent weeks. Thank you all”.
Alessandro Il Grande, ‘Sanremo al Centro’ leader, then spoke: “I am proud to be leader of this team. Thanks to Alberto for what he has done in recent years for the city and for what he will continue to do. Thanks also to Alessandro for the electoral campaign he is running, which sees him growing greatly. The city has grasped the great commitment of these years and I am sure we will be able to achieve a good result.”
Closing the presentation was mayoral candidate Alessandro Mager: “It wasn’t a given that ‘Sanremo al Centro’ would side with me, but after a fair internal discussion we found a shared line. I have always thought that the best administration of Sanremo should be managed by the people of San Remo, independent of the parties. The Biancheri administration has shown that this is the right path. Today we have a compact civic coalition that has the goal of winning, and we will do it.”
