Forza Italia clash in Marsala, Papania (MpA) supports Scilla: “We are at the apposition of Grillo”

After the harsh intervention of Toni Scilla, provincial secretary of Forza Italia, who reiterated that the party is outside the Grillo Council – despite a new councilor appointed by the mayor of Marsala being in the FI quota – senator Nino Papania also supports the thesis of Scilla, on behalf of the MpA. Papania states: “We appreciate the tough intervention of the provincial secretary of Forza Italia Toni Scilla, respect
to the new Grillo council in Marsala. We also believe it is necessary to point out that a party cannot be used only for mere opportunism and that the representation of the same by some subjects must always be supported by militancy, commitment and coherence. MPA in Marsala therefore remains decidedly in opposition to the Grillo Administration together to the other centre-right forces and hopes that soon the Brothers of Italy will finally be able to put an end to this embarrassing political misunderstanding”.

Just yesterday at the Marsala City Council, however, the same councilor Elia Martinico reiterated that Forza Italia is in opposition to the Grillo Administration, an opinion not strongly shared with President Enzo Sturiano.
