A brutal attack occurred yesterday afternoon in Casoria, where a 44-year-old woman was approached by a man while she was walking in via Padula. The robber, aiming to steal her bag, did not hesitate to use violence when the woman resisted.
The victim was transported to the San Giovanni di Dio hospital in Frattamaggiore, suffering fractures to his arm and leg, as well as a scalp injury. Investigators said the attacker was in a car when he approached the woman. After getting out, he violently yanked her in an attempt to steal her purse.
Faced with the victim’s resistance, the attacker grabbed her by the hair, hitting her repeatedly with kicks and punches. After getting the bag, he fled.
