Federconsumatori Sicilia, the balance of the “helpdesks” for users

Over 560 users served with advice on banks, bills, healthcare, of which more than 300 in person, 380 questionnaires administered from which a satisfaction rate of 99% emerges: these are the numbers of “Counters open to consumers” project, spread by Federconsumatori Sicilia. The association takes stock of the initiative six months after its launch. The project was carried out within the general intervention program of the Sicilian Region. With the use of funds from the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy pursuant to the Ministerial Decree of 6 May 2022, and allowed the activation of four free consultancy desks a Termini Imerese, Giardini Naxos, Caltanissetta and Enna.

In detail, from 12 October 2023 to 31 March 2024, 562 users were assisted. Of which 332 in presence and the rest thanks to online channels such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger or the emails from the branches. These users received free assistance on their consumer rights in relationship with private companies, even large corporations and banks, and public bodies. Come on doubts about energy bills to the inefficiencies in the health care, users of the counters open to consumers received the listening and answers they needed to resolve small and big problems. And with excellent results, according to the citizens themselves.

The satisfaction of Sicilian users

Many of the users of the branches, in fact, agreed to fill out the questionnaire on their satisfaction with the service offered: out of 380 completed questionnaires 99% of users declared themselves satisfied or fairly satisfied. “I want to thank all the tellers who have taken turns in assisting users up until now,” comments the president of Federconsumatori Sicilia, Alfio La Rosa, “because they not only did a lot of work, but also a great job. Federconsumatori, together with the other two associations participating in the project, Ajax and Ugcons, will continue to deploy the best resources present in the territories of the four branches, for offer assistance until October 2024 to all those who need it.”
