CIVITAVECCHIA – This is not the year of promotion for Nautilus but it is certainly the year of great confirmations.
The playoff dream of promotion to A1 fades away for the Nautilus Civitavecchia ASD, but not the attachment to the colors and the great value that the athletes have generated in this first season of A2 Femminile.
The match against Lazio Nuoto on Sunday ended 6-4 in favor of the opponents. Great support was received from the citizens of Civitavecchia who mobilized almost a hundred fans and enthusiasts traveling to Acilia to support the team in what had the flavor of a historic adventure.
The blue and green caps of President Alberto Braccini’s club returned home with a baggage full of awareness, also put under the spotlight by coach Daniele Lisi: “In reference to the match against Lazio, to which we congratulate for the victory and qualification in the playoffs, it must be said that it was a game with a high emotional load given the stakes. Victory and defeat were needed for our corporate and technical growth process, but for everything that the club and team have demonstrated in this Serie A2 championship, the word A and the number 1 are no longer a taboo or a utopia. It can be done, the company is there and the technical base has been started. We will begin to work on a different path of growth, so that we can work in peace to try to realize our dream, to be carried forward in a sporting and traditional city like Civitavecchia.”
During the season, the work done by all the athletes, by Mister Lisi, by President Braccini and by Team Manager Vincenzo Pastorelli and by Athletic Trainer Mauro Ronconi was great.
