Livorno – Founded in 1913, Orvietana, Livorno’s next opponent, is based in the Umbrian town of Orvieto, wears the red and white club colors and in its history has participated only once in Serie C in the 1947/1948 season. The team plays its home matches at the Lugi Muzi Stadium. In 2021 the team, currently coached by coach Antonio Rizzolo, obtained promotion to Serie D after 5 years of Excellence and 4 even in Promotion.

The season that is coming to an end is the second consecutive season in the top amateur series for the red and whites, but the team’s fate in the next championship will only be decided at the play outs to which Orvietana is already arithmetically forced.

The team currently in 14th place in the standings has just returned from two defeats, against Grosseto and Pianese, and a draw against Aquila Montevarchi. Offensively, the red and whites were able to count above all on the goals of striker Cristiano Marsili and defender Alessandro Orchi, both with 5 goals. In the last match lost 2 to 1 at the Zecchini in Grosseto, the flag goal for Orvietana was instead scored by midfielder Luca Ricci.

In the first leg match at Picchi the Amaranths, still coached by Favarin, won the match thanks to a goal from Cesarini. In the match in Umbria last season, however, it was the red and whites who got the better of the Labronici by 1 to 0 thanks to Mignani’s goal in the second half.
