He was awarded just yesterday, Sunday 21 April, in his native Pontelongo where our Ivano Bison was born. The municipality in the lower Padua area, cut in two by the Bacchiglione river, is where Ivano lived the first years of his life and then arrived in Cinisello Balsamo with his family in the early 1960s, like many others in that period.
After a lifetime of work and passion for writing, politics and music, the local administration awarded him the city honor “for having honored and brought prestige to Pontelongo, as part of his journalistic, social, administrative and cultural commitment ”.
A great satisfaction for Ivano who, in addition to being a columnist in our newspaper of which he was also director, continues to be a journalist and to disseminate culture as an author and organizer of highly appreciated musical shows. Cinisello Balsamo does not even forget his past as councilor in the early 1990s, when the city, also thanks to his contribution, had a notable boost in the promotion of youth and aggregation policies through art, music and sport.
