Bologna is one step away from a goal that was not even predictable at the start of the season. After two consecutive draws, Thiago Motta’s team got the better of Roma in the direct clash played at the Olimpico and moved up to +7 over the Giallorossi and +8 over Atalanta. A very important distance at this point of the season, albeit with one more match.
The match for the Emilian team immediately got on the right track thanks to El Azzouzi’s splendid overhead kick. Then Joshua Zirkzee, man of the match, scored the goal before the break to make it 0-2. At the beginning of the second half Azmoun reopened the game, in the 64th minute Sealemaekers set the score at 1-3.
At the end of the match, this is Thiago Motta’s analysis: “We must congratulate the boys, I’m proud to be their coach.
