Twenty-second victory out of twenty-three races for Star Volley Bisceglie also beats San Giorgio sul Sannio 0-3 away further legitimizing their lead in group I of Serie B2.

A rounded victory for the nerofuchsia of coach Giunta, very good at taking command of operations from the very beginning, leaving no chance for their rivals. Start of the match with great personality from the Bisceglie team who made things clear right from the start by attacking and showing their qualities right from the start. The first set is in fact an authentic black-fuchsia monologue that ends with an eloquent +12 (13-25) which is worth 0-1. In the second set the hosts try to stay close to their opponents and so the determination of San Giorgio sul Sannio produces a decidedly balanced second set which, however, in the final stages turns in favor of the guests thanks to a greater concentration of the leaders in the crucial phases of the hamlet, closed at 20-25. The double advantage allows Star Volley to be able to play the third set with great tranquility which turns into an authentic solo for the nerofuchsia, very determined to close the match. Indeed, Captain Haliti and her teammates concede just nine points to their opponents, closing the set and match in just a few moments. The final 9-25 in fact sends the third half to an end, marks the end of hostilities by certifying the twenty-second championship success of the Bisceglie team.

The victory achieved allows Star Volley to reach 66 points in the rankings, further rounding off their haul and the advantage over second place, which has now risen to +16 by virtue of the results achieved on the other fields. In the next round, scheduled for Saturday 27 April, the Bisceglie team will host the Lecce team from Cutrofiano at the PalaDolmen, second to last in the ranking, fresh from the 1-3 home defeat against FLV Cerignola.
