OFFIDA – On Saturday 20 April the mayoral candidate for Offida Solidarity and Democracy, Luigi Massa, held a public meeting to take stock after the thematic forums that have taken place in recent weeks.
During the morning, all the projects and activities that will characterize the next five years were shared according to the electoral program presented.
“I am grateful to all the citizens who participated in our meetings on the thematic forums which will help us to implement the electoral program – comments Massa – Various ideas arose from sharing and discussing with them, which we will take advantage of when thinking about the next administration”.
Among the topics covered, within the first forum “OffidAdesso Solidale e inclusive” Massa spoke of the renewed support for fragility, so that no Offida is left behind: “An Offida that can increasingly think of its young people, from attention to childhood, to quality education up to responding to professional needs and the importance of citizen participation”.
From the second forum “OffidAdesso for a better quality of life”, there were many suggestions on health and community healthcare, starting from the maximum attention to the redevelopment of the former hospital, even if it is not the responsibility of the Municipality, so that the resources are allocated to start the project within the year. Massa reiterated the collective, social and economic value of sport and the importance of environmental protection and sustainability.
The third forum “OffidNow is the future” inspired a discussion on gender equality, from which various suggestions came and a vision of the Offida to come, of a change in the urban reality.
“OffidAdesso, resilient, active and attractive” was the subject of discussion of the last forum, which included trade and production activities, agri-food valorisation and ideas for making the historic center an asset for all.
