Thanks to a modest per capita income, equal to 16,747 euros (more than 6 thousand euros lower than the Italian average), in Campania the average expenditure per family on durable goods according to the Findomestic Observatory stands at 2,062 euros: almost 800 euros less compared to the national average. Among the provinces, Avellino occupies the relatively best position (2141 euros per family), in 81st place among the 107 Italian provinces. Naples, Salerno and Benevento follow closely, while Caserta is far behind, which with its 1,934 euros of expenditure per family ranks only 102nd among the Italian provinces.
