Yes Assisi to promote the city’s tourism at 360 degrees – Umbria

“YES Assisi” is the slogan chosen for the communication campaign which aims to enhance the Franciscan places, but also all those activities that constitute a 360-degree tourist offer. Entrusted to the Armando Testa agency, it is promoted by the Municipality and was presented in the seraphic city, in the presence of Armando Testa’s creatives, those in charge of the media strategy, The Gate Communication, and municipal administrators.

The initiative is mainly supported with funds linked to the tender announced by the Ministry of Tourism.

“The creative idea is characterized by positivity and is inspired by the name of the city itself: Assisi, with the centrality of “YES” declared Raffaele Balducci, creative director of Armando Testa. “It represents – he added – the answer to everything everything you could ask for from a never banal holiday. In fact, whether it is seeking spirituality, immersing yourself in nature, attending an open-air concert or an art exhibition, enjoying a lunch or traveling along exciting paths by bicycle, Assisi has everything to offer” .

In practice, through a “copy” mechanism of question and answer – it was explained – the “YES” expresses the answer to every desire, the promise of a tourist offer defined as diversified and satisfying, and is at the same time the graphic element which signs the campaign in an identifying and distinctive way. Thus, Assisi is no longer “just” the city of Saint Francis, but expresses a yes to nature, a yes to art, to a summer of outdoor experiences and fun, which represent the themes covered in this first launch with great protagonist is Mount Subasio “as a strategic tourist resource”.

The campaign is multi-channel, planned on the web and on social media with a “paid” and “organic” editorial plan and on systems in 13 large Italian stations, such as Milan Centrale, Rome Termini and Tiburtina, Turin Porta Nuova, Genoa Brignole, Genoa Piazza Principe , Verona Porta Nuova, Venice Santa Lucia, Venice Mestre, Bologna Central, Naples Central, Bari Central, Palermo Central.

The actions were illustrated by Donato Perri and Vincenzo Tomini Foresti of The Gate Communication, the agency that dealt with the media strategy. The launch, scheduled for April 22, represents the first step of the “YES Assisi” campaign, which will continue with other activities and themes until 2025, also including international releases.
