An unusual walk in the heart of Brescia next to the gigantic Irish Wolfhounds

A six-legged walk in the heart of Brescia. It is the one organized for Sunday 28 April by Irish Wolfhound Italythe group of enthusiasts that brings together owners or simply lovers of the wonderful and gigantic Irish greyhounds.

An opportunity to discover the city in an unusual dimension and which will offer all participants (with or without dogs in tow) a walk in stages designed to touch the salient places of the city’s history. For each symbolic place (from Piazza Loggia to Porta Bruciata, from the Strada del Soccotto to the Castle, from the Santa Giulia to the Roman Forum, from the Broletto to the Duomo Vecchio) the Cicerone of the group will propose in a few brushstrokes the historical suggestions of the place, including traditions, customs and curiosity.

The appointment

Appointment at 9.30 in Piazza Vittoria. The Falcone d’Italia will be the stop where, after the visit to the Castle, we will stop for the lunch break. Descent from the Cidneo hill for the second part and mid-afternoon return to Piazza Vittoria.

The poster of the walk

The walk returns this year again in Brescia, but the event has also touched other Italian cities over time. The intent is always to create opportunities to meet and share the passion for dogs that do not go unnoticed. Males reach a minimum height of 79 cm while females at least 71. Characteristically they are gentle, calm, intelligent and those who own them say that they are docile and easy to train. They have a tendency to become attached to the people at home and are very sweet and loving towards all family members. Precisely because of these characteristics, the Irish Wolfhound is at ease in the rhythms of a common domestic life, even if it loves open spaces in which to move.
