Carpi presents itself at the first match point for tomorrow’s Lega Pro (more theoretical than practical, the red and whites must win against Forlì and Ravenna lose at home against Certaldo) with many doubts about their formation, at the height of a week in which Mr. Serpini he measured the strengths of his players. Like Thursday, yesterday too Mandelli, Rossi and Arrondini did not take part in the practice match to manage the ailments of the last few days, even if there is great confidence in being able to recover all three. Yesterday, number one Lorenzi was also seen wearing football boots, making use of a special insole created by Carpi’s ‘Centro del foot’ for the heel pain that put him out of action in San Mauro. It is possible that at least for the bench he will be recovered even if Viti will still be between the posts. Compared to the match in Romagna seven days ago, Rossini is available again, playing for a shirt with Zucchini alongside Calanca. For the rest it is a run-off on the right between Tcheuna and Verza, with Cecotti on the left, in the median space for Forapani, Mandelli and Rossi, Cortesi still in attack behind Saporetti and one of Arrondini and Sall. As in recent weeks, the coach will be able to draw heavily from the bench given that the various Larhrib, Beretta and Gerbino are in great form.

Fans. ‘Everyone in the corner on Sunday’. It is one of the many banners that color the streets of Carpi this week. Anticipation is rising among the red and white fans for the match against Forlì and with a post on social media the Led by Lambrusco and the Qzd have asked the fans to enter the ‘Bertesi-Siligardi’ corner 30′ early, at 2.30 pm at the latest to create the choreography that will accompany the teams at the entrance. Then in the corner a fundraiser will be held for the next choreographies in Imola and with Certaldo.

Doctor. The number of ‘doctors’ in the red and white squad is increasing: after Calanca, Rossi, Beretta and Tentoni, yesterday it was the turn of Andrea Mandelli (photo) who graduated in Communication Sciences at the University of Modena with a thesis on the Berlin Olympics ‘ 36.

Referee. The match against Forlì will be directed by Maksym Frasynyak from Gallarate, flanked by Cristiano Annoni and Thomas Vora from Como: for him there is only one previous match against Carpi, the 0-0 draw in Budrio against Mezzolara in January 2022.
