The latest rumors speak of a Sanremo Festival that will be played by three and Carlo Conti is not on the list: here’s what Rai could decide.
The public’s anticipation of knowing who will be the host of the next edition of the Italian music festival grows from time to time, especially after the farewell of Amadeus on Rai. In this sense, the options are numerous but there is still no certainty as to who will be at the helm.
The most accredited name seems to be that of Carlo Conti, who could take over the Sanremo Festival after hosting three editions in a row: in 2015, 2016 and 2017. There are rumors that the Florentine host, in fact, could be joined by great friends Giorgio Panariello and Leonardo Pieraccioniwith whom he also starred in the theater with a tour.
However, the Tuscan trio is not the only one accredited for hosting, as many other names are being mentioned these days. The latest indiscretion would have Rai ready to make a splash, especially after the words released by Gianni Morandi in an interview with Corriere della Sera.

We can say that Gianni Morandi is a veteran of the Sanremo Festival, not only as regards the competition, given that he has often been present as Big in the competition, always managing to make excellent impressions. The singer from Bologna was also host of the event, a role which he succeeded perfectly.
After the artist’s interview at Corriere della Seramany dream of trio Morandi, Mina and Celentano at the helm of the next edition of the Italian music festival. An idea that came after Gianni said that when he was at the beginning of his career, Celentano wanted him in the Clan, where Mina was also ready to join.
“So we organize Sanremo, Cantagiro, Canzonissima”, Celentano would have told him. Morandi, however, confessed that it was a great idea, but that nothing came of it because he was linked to the RCA record label at the time and therefore had to refuse his colleague’s proposal.
Hence the hypothesis of seeing the trio at Sanremo 2025, also because Mina’s name already came out a few weeks ago. Many claim that the great Italian singer was contacted to be the artistic director of the event, an indiscretion which, however, was not followed up on.
