With the cry of “No to reporting” and “We are caregivers, not accountants”, this morning outside the headquarters of the Campania Region in Santa Lucia, around 50 parents protested together with the Superheroes Association, the Little World of Marta and the Committee of Parents of Serious Children and Extremely serious, against the legislation which sees the voucher recognized only following the presentation of a specific request for reimbursement, following the reporting of the expenses incurred.
“A parent’s love cannot be accounted for! This morning with councilor Patrizia Nola, we stand alongside caregiver parents against legislation that degrades their love and would like them to be accountants rather than parents. The institutions must facilitate and support mothers and fathers who, despite a thousand difficulties, look after their special children. It is necessary to recognize the figure of the Caregiver at a national level, Italy is one of the few countries that has not yet done so, which is why it is necessary for Parliament to immediately vote on our bill with the first signature of President Giuseppe Conte and his colleague Gilda Sportiello”. This was declared by Carmela Auriemma, deputy of the 5 Star Movement and coordinator of the party for the province of Naples.
