TO Wedge, at the Rondò dei Talenti, there is the Turin illustrator Ilaria Urbinati, who has important collaborations in the world of Italian and foreign publishing, with volumes dedicated both to children and teenagers and to a more adult audience, together with forays into the world of graphic novels, newspapers and advertising. At 10am she offers the workshop for children aged 4 to 6 years entitled Protagonist of a thousand adventures, while from 4pm to 7pm she holds the workshop “6 cartoons for a memory”, for children aged 11 to 17 years. Always at Wedge, with meeting in Piazza Galimberti at 2pm, first edition of the “Biciclettata resistant”: bike “tour” in Cuneo through some significant places of the resistance, told by Professor Gigi Garelli (director of the Historical Institute of the Resistance of Cuneo) in collaboration with FIAB Cuneo Bicingiro. Participants are asked to wear a garment (scarf, t-shirt, hat) that recalls the theme of the Resistance. Info: [email protected].

Furthermore a Wedge, at 4pm at the Casa Delfino Foundation (corso Nizza 2) third appointment of the chamber music festival “Young musicians at Casa Delfino-Sartoris” with the concert by the Sara Audenino trio, violin; Mitja Liboni, cello; Marco Isaia, piano, who performs music from the classical repertoire. More to Wedge, at 5pm in via Silvio Pellico, “Urban Performance”: dance, rap and readings on Resistenze of yesterday and today, from here and elsewhere. Furthermore a Wedge, at 5pm in the Gesso and Stura River Park, an appointment open to all with the narrated musical walk: “NIGHT of the Moon”, in the company of the magical harp of the teacher Valentina Meinero and accompanied by the Chamin guides. Registration required. During the walk, there is the possibility of a convivial dinner at the Acli Bocciofila Cuneese club in via Ghedini in Cuneo. More to Wedge at 6pm in the CDT Hall (Largo Barale 1) meeting-debate organized with the FIVL and the Ignazio Vian partisan association on the topic of very young people in the Resistance. Speaking about it is Ernesto Billò, historian from Monregalese, author of essays and expert on the Cuneo partisan struggle, who in a recently published book highlighted the role of some characters who entered little more than boys in the ranks of the Resistance of Cuneo, Monregalese and the Langa, distinguishing himself for courage and dedication. Finally a Wedge, at the Cinema Teatro Don Bosco at 9pm, the program of events is SPECTACULAR! – Winter-Spring 2024 collection brings the Gli Episodi company to the Don Bosco stage for the first time, presenting Elide Giordanengo’s text “Io Sono”.

TO Busca, in the hamlet of San Giuseppe near the Bar La Virgola there is the San Giuseppe Beer’s Fest with a “Pasta party” entertained by Teddy Romano. DJ Tony was also present with Antony on vocals. Info: tel. 331.7910102 – [email protected].

TO Busca, at the Civic Theater at 9pm, “The Wonders of the Mind: the wonders and prestiges of Vanni De Luca”. Appointment with the young mentalist for the final show of the IX Sim Sala Blink magic festival organized by the Blink magic club of Dronero. Brilliant, original, mysterious, Vanni De Luca is the only artist capable of creating incredible shows without any artifice. His only weapon is to use a prodigious mind to the maximum power. Among the suggestions and scents of a distant era, he will tell the stories of his masters and predecessors, from Harry Kahne to Datas “The Memory Man”, opening the treasure chest of his multifaceted abilities. TO Dronero “At the mill we flour”: guided tour by the miller Fabrizio Cavanna to the Mill of the Riviera di Dronero. Meeting point at Piazza GB Cariolo, Dronero. Car parking directly at the meeting point. This is followed by a walk over the historic Ponte del Diavolo di Dronero to get to the Mill. Visit of the exterior and interior of the mill led by the miller Fabrizio Cavanna. Through his knowledge you will discover the centenary history of the Mill and you will be a live witness of the ancient art of stone grinding. TO Dronero, at 9pm appointment at the Iris Theatre. On January 27, 1908, issue 1 of «Il Corriere dei Piccoli» was published. Paola Lombroso Carrara wanted to create a newspaper that would introduce children to reading, leveraging illustrated stories. We meet her in the doctor’s office. Albertini, editor of the Corriere, to talk about the newspaper that she created page by page but which she never directed… because she is a woman. TO Cold in the parish theater (via Braide, 2) evening of dialect theater to raise funds for the communities of Palmares de “La Granja”. The show is “La Rapina” by the “Mach Fina Lí” theater company from Saluzzo. At the end, refreshments for everyone.

TO Savigliano, at 4.30 pm at the Civic Museum – Plaster Cast Gallery, inauguration of “Rebels in confinement”, a traveling exhibition dedicated to the history of political confinement during the fascist regime. The installation – conceived by the National Association of Persecuted Italian Anti-Fascist Politicians, with the historical consultancy of Anthony Santilli – is accompanied by the comic of the same name drawn by Maurizio Ribichini.

Furthermore a Savigliano, at 9pm at the Teatro Milanollo, Piedmontese dialect review with the show “Trovè na fomna, en bijet per el paradis”, a brilliant comedy in two acts by Oreste De Santis, curated by the El Fornel Piemontese Theater Company. Entrance: €10 (reduced €8). Info: tel. 349.0575239.

TO Cavallermajor the Gorgonzola Festival continues. At 5pm, inauguration of traveling art exhibitions at the church of San Pietro. From 7.30pm Gorgonzola DOP dinner at the tensile structure in Piazza Baden Powell. Followed by: DJ set by “Let’s dance 80” at the municipal wing Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II.

TO Racconigiin the spaces of the Levis Sismonda civic art gallery at 4.30 pm, inauguration of the personal exhibition “The enchantment of form”, dedicated to the artist Sergio Unia (Roccaforte di Mondovì, 1943) curated by Anna Cavallera.

TO San Giorgio Tower the Mixed Fried Festival continues. From 8.00pm Street Food with mixed fried food in foil: sausage, chicken steak, semolina, pavesino and aubergine. In addition, grilled sausage or hamburger sandwiches are available. Plus french fries.

Furthermore a Bra, from 10am to 6pm in Piazza Roma, “Cittadella della Salute”. The event, now in its fourth edition, organized by the two city Lions Clubs, in collaboration with the Leo club, includes a series of free screenings: blood pressure and blood sugar checks by the voluntary nurses of the Cri and the Fand, spirometry organized by the Medical center, demonstration of the use of a defibrillator by the CRI (Italian Red Cross) and of the techniques for correct cardiac massage by the Red Cross nurses themselves.

Always at Brastarting from 2.30 pm at the “Attilio Bravi” stadium, there is women’s football with the “Quadrangolari del smile”.

To Sunrise, at 11 in the Hall of the Resistance of the Town Hall, presentation of the book “Love and War in Alta Langa” (Araba Fenice Edizioni) by Suzanne Hoffman. Followed by an aperitif.

TO Castiglione Tinella, at 4pm at the premises of Il Fauno (via Umberto I), new appointment with the “Duetti in cornice”. The meetings, organized to make the Castiglionean companies and their products protagonists, this time see the presence of two agricultural companies from the Bera Valley: one is the historic La Caudrina winery of Romano Dogliotti with its well-known wines, while the other is the Paolo Dogliotti who presents various products based on hazelnuts grown on his property. As always, it will be a pleasant meeting for in-depth analysis and tasting, with free admission while places last, and with the possibility of purchasing.
