Steals van in Rimini, chased and arrested at Villa Literno

A 39-year-old Romanian was arrested in the province of Caserta after stealing a van in Rimini.

The thief was intercepted and chased by the Traffic Police, ending up being arrested for aggravated theft and resisting a public official.

Together with him, a 38-year-old compatriot was reported for receiving stolen goods. The officers of the Caserta Traffic Police Section identified the stolen van and managed to follow the thief to Villa Literno.

Here, the criminal tried to escape, abandoning the vehicle and trying to escape into the surrounding countryside. After a short chase, the thief was stopped and arrested.

Subsequently, during the search of a nearby warehouse, the police found part of the stolen goods loaded into the stolen van, including a motorcycle and work tools. The warehouse manager, another 38-year-old Romanian citizen, was reported for receiving stolen goods.
