Background | Monographic exhibition by Michele Lapini

They tell of a hidden world of great beauty over 50 photographs by Michele Lapini exposed in the Foyer of the Comunale Nouveauwhich reveal the behind the scenes of the opera and dance shows of the Teatro Comunale of Bologna from 2021 to 2024.
There monographic exhibition by Michele Lapini “Retroscena”, That inaugurates Friday 26 April at 6.30pm (to participate in the inauguration you need to book for free on eventbrite), will be accessible until July 12th exclusively on show daysstarting one hour before the start of each performance.

Lapini’s camera lens captures and immortalizes those moments not visible to the eyes of the spectators in the roomdocumenting the attentive work of the workers but also the emotions experienced by the artists in the moments before entering the scene. The exhibition “Backstory” it is therefore an opportunity to discover the behind the scenes of operatic masterpieces such as Tosca, Lohengrin, Andrea Chénier, Lucrezia Borgia, Adriana Lecouvreur or timeless ballets like Giselle.
