Theater and concerts

“Sette Spose per sette Fratelli” is one of the musical titles most loved by the Italian public, taken from the film of the same name directed by Stanley Donen. A musical that will be on stage on Saturday 20 April 2024, at 9 pm, at the Santa Chiara Auditorium in Trento.

Sound Explorations returns to be heard and does so for its second edition. An experimental and immersive event, in which artists with different electronic musical genres will intertwine, designed for a decidedly fresh and young target who will be able to be transported by the different frequencies and rhythms.

Exhibitions

The exhibition “Quanto – The revolution in a leap” continues, the exhibition at the Muse in Trento dedicated to quantum mechanics and its revolutionary impact. Organized by the same science museum and the National Institute of Nuclear Physics (Infn), the exhibition will be open to the public from 7 December 2023 until 15 June 2024 and is divided into a journey of five stages, from the macroscopic world to the cosmos and the manifestations of quantum mechanics.

The Orantis Imago contemporary art exhibition continues with twentieth-century works in the collections of the Tridentine diocesan museum. The museum’s contemporary art collection includes over two thousand eight hundred works including paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints and ex libris, created mainly by Trentino artists in the period between the beginning of the nineteenth century and the present day. The most conspicuous nucleus of the collection is due to the passion and commitment shown by Monsignor Giovanni Battista Fedrizzi, director of the museum in the 1940s and 1950s.

“From the earth the future. Journey through the 150 years of the Edmund Mach Foundation” is the title of the exhibition at the SAS underground archaeological space, in Piazza Cesare Battisti, in Trento, which started last January and continues until next September. The initiative is part of the series of events dedicated to the celebrations for the 150 years of the Foundation organized by the Committee chaired by Professor Attilio Scienza, which will culminate on 28 September with the final ceremony.

The theatrical visits to the “Museo Anno Zero” exhibition curated by Il Funambolo will start from Friday 12 April. Entrance at 6.30pm and 8.45pm (10 euros). The first animated visits “Year Zero: adventures of a man and a museum” inspired by the Museum Year Zero exhibition which can be visited at the Buonconsiglio Castle until 5 May will be offered on Friday 12 April at 6.30pm and 8.45pm.

The “Real Human Bodies” exhibition is the exhibition that offers the opportunity to learn more about the human body thanks to a large scientific collection. On display are anatomical pieces of educational value such as human bodies, skeletons, limbs, organs, blocks of organs, functional simulators, tactile models and casts.
