The agents of the Flying Squad of the Pordenone Police Headquarters have implemented a measure issued by the Judge of the Preliminary Investigations of the Court of Pordenone against two Italian citizens of Moroccan origin, one resident in Chions and the other in San Polo di Piave in the province of Treviso, believed to be the authors of a kidnapping for the purpose of robbery and attempted extortion against a 24-year-old Italian citizen resident in Pordenone.
The precautionary measures carried out by the Flying Squad agents were issued following an investigative activity coordinated by the Deputy Prosecutor Dr. Marco Faion and launched last February after the complaint presented by a 24-year-old Italian citizen of Moroccan origin who presented himself at the police station and said he had been lured with a trap into the apartment of the two arrested menhis acquaintances, who after having it locked inside a room for three hours they beat him violently with slaps and punches and robbed him of his Apple Watch which he had on his wrist, threatening the victim that if he wanted to get the smartwatch back he would have to pay the sum of 1000 euros.
Even in the following weeks the two continued to threaten the young man with messages and stakeouts under his house; on one occasion, last February, the threats were also directed towards the victim’s father and brother who, frightened by what had happened after having lodged a complaint decided to move out of the region.
The acquisition and viewing of the images of the video, shot by the attackers themselves, in which part of the brutal attack was filmed, and the subsequent investigations made it possible to identify numerous and precise evidential findings with respect to the serious facts reported by the offended person so as to determine the Public Ministry proceeding to request and obtain the issuance of precautionary measures carried out by the Flying Squad Agents.
