A dinner took place yesterday evening in the splendid location of the Lungomare Restaurant, located in Corso Garibaldi 104, in Castellammare di Stabia, to celebrate the promotion to Serie B and the victory of the championship. An evening of relaxation and fun, in which it was possible to taste typical dishes of our land with first-rate craftsmanship and elegance. «We were welcomed in an extraordinary way by the Prefectural Commission at Palazzo Farnese, where they rewarded us with plaques and medals – explains the president Andrea Langella -. A beautiful, quality event, affectionate thanks go to the Commissioners and the entire municipal body. The owner of the restaurant hosted us to celebrate the promotion to Serie B and we will spend further time on the streets of Castellammare. Stadium? The Municipality has undertaken with this budget deficit to comply with the requirements of the national license for registration in Serie B. There is a lot to work on and time is running out. Vice President Vincenzo D’Elia is at the stadium with Doctor Filippo Polcino for other obligations. These are details, but they are used to start this “stadium machine” which must be updated for registration in a new championship. The requirements are different as are the prescriptions. The Municipality made itself available. The stadium is beautiful, but dilapidated. It should be retouched in the substantial parts. There is a personal satisfaction. All of us together, myself with all the staff and management, have achieved this result. There is clearly the economic aspect which has been the painful aspect. But it’s a commitment I made to the city. I took this boat to get to the happy oasis and we finally got there. I always thank the team again, the first to fight and sweat their shirt. They gave one hundred percent and maybe even a little more than they could give. The youth sector in Cercola? In Campania we lack structures. These last four years we have been traveling with the youth sector. Today we are turning into a reality. We have closed the contract with the Cercola sports center. A lease for a few hours a day for seven days. It will allow us to have a space of our own, where we can place ourselves both with the youth sector and with an academy that we are trying to organize. It’s something that our area needs, a social impact that I want to carry forward. I take this opportunity to thank all the Castellammare fans for the celebration they are having day after day. In particular, at the Curva, which is proving to improve year after year and is always of quality compared to other places. On the one hand I would like to go back to the wallet from before, the pocket is a bit empty. On the other hand he sees this effect balanced with a lot of great love and affection from this city. «The emotion is great – says the sole director Filippo Polcino – We planned the accounts and it was a “shadow” team effort, working behind the scenes. The emotion of winning the championship, however, was not planned. We are very happy to have obtained it. As I said in the Municipality, I arrived three months before he was commissioned. There were many problems and having their collaboration allowed me to solve almost all of them. Now we are in Serie B and there are other problems to resolve. In the meetings I have had, many have embraced the Juve Stabia project and for me it has been a satisfaction. Being able to carry the brand and the program is a source of pride.
