PRESIDENCY OF THE REGION

The Regional Council has appointed Stefania Riccardi as President of the Single Guarantee Committee of the entities of the single sector of the Aosta Valley.

EUROPEAN AFFAIRS, INNOVATION, PNRR AND NATIONAL MOUNTAIN POLICIES

The public notice “Students on the move – Creation of company internships abroad for the 2023/2024 school year” was approved, as part of the regional program European Social Fund Plus 2021/2027. The act aims to improve access to employment and activation measures for all job seekers, in particular young people, especially through the implementation of the Youth Guarantee, the long-term unemployed and disadvantaged groups in the labor market, as well as inactive people. The total cost of 240 thousand euros.

AGRICULTURE AND NATURAL RESOURCES

The new application provisions relating to the training course for the exercise of agritourism activities and the suitability exam required by regional law 29/2006 and the professional profile and training standard of the agritourism activity manager have been approved. The act will allow the re-evaluation of the professional figure of the agritourism activity manager and the adaptation of the training course to the new regulations and the remote delivery method.

CULTURAL GOODS AND ACTIVITIES, EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM AND POLICIES FOR INTERGENERATIONAL RELATIONS

The decisions have been approved, starting from the 2024/2025 school year, on the substitute canteen service, through the use of electronic meal vouchers, for students of secondary schools, dependent on the Region, including training courses professional (IEFP) implemented in the regional territory, and for students of university courses activated in Valle d’Aosta. The total expenditure of 1 million 431 thousand and 196 euros.

Furthermore, the operational plan containing the project proposal “Young Aosta Valley people in the mountains” was approved, pursuant to the agreement between the State, the Regions, the autonomous Provinces and the local authorities on the annual distribution of the National Fund for regional policies. The aim of the project is to make young students discover the mountains, flora and fauna, with particular attention to the small ski areas, refuges and parks present in the regional territory, through multidisciplinary initiatives as well as allowing them to be taught, in the 18-29 years old, the profession of medium mountain guide, through specific training courses.

The distribution plan for contributions to support the activities of Aosta Valley cultural associations for 2024 has been approved.

The organization of the initiative called “Printemps en musique” has been approved, scheduled from 20 May to 21 June 2024. It is a heterogeneous cultural event of common interest, capable of responding to different tastes and which, through musical genres, can represent with originality the rich musical culture of the Aosta Valley area.

A contribution of 25 thousand euros was granted to the “Musikkapelle la Lira” Association of Issime, for the organization of the 50th gathering of Aosta Valley musical bands, scheduled in Issime from 1 to 8 June 2024.

PUBLIC WORKS, TERRITORY AND ENVIRONMENT

The “Collaboration Protocol between the Department of Labor and Training Policies and the Department of Superintendence of Studies for the coordinated management of orientation and training interventions in the regional territory and of initiatives related to the implementation of the PNRR” was approved.

the proposal to the Regional Council for the approval of the three-year plan of labor policy interventions 2024/2026 was approved.
