SATURDAY 20 APRIL

Madonna in the Countryside

The feast of the Madonna in Campagna has begun in Sacconago. The exhibition “The archives tell a story” will be inaugurated in the library on Saturday 20 April at 4pm. 1944: year of struggles, hopes and repression”, curated by the ANPI of Castellanza, which aims to reconstruct the climate of violence, repression, struggles and hopes that characterized 1944. The exhibition is made mainly with materials from period (documents, photographs, posters, testimonies) preserved in numerous archives, including the Municipal Archives of Castellanza, focusing in particular on our territory. The students of the Mary Help of Christians Institute intervene.

Farmer’s market

Sunday 21 April the new edition of the Farmers’ Market in Busto Arsizio in the Comerio Park (with entrances from via Espinasse, via Magenta and via Silvio Pellico) from 9am to 1pm. The Farmers’ Market was born from the collaboration between Slow Food Legnano APS, Slow Food Valle Olona APS and some local producers following the example of the farmers’ markets of Cantalupo, San Giorgio su Legnano, Villa Cortese, Legnano and Nerviano. One hundred years of kindergarten in Marnate

The San Luigi kindergarten in Marnate reaches a special milestone and celebrates one hundred years with a truly great party on Sunday 21 April. From 3pm to 5pm on Sunday 21 April, the Villa Gonzaga theater will host the open rehearsal of the orchestra of the Clara Schumann Academy, which will see 25 children aged 8 to 18 who attend school engaged in the strenuous rehearsals necessary to learn to work together harmonic. The initiative is open to all, and aims not only to help young musicians learn to relate to the public, but also to educate the spectator to better understand how an orchestra is composed, what its parts are and how much work is behind the performances we witness.

Busto Arsizio vintage cars

On the occasion of the seventieth anniversary of its foundation, the Busto Arsizio Host Lions Club, with the patronage of the municipal administration and the support of Paglini Store, is organizing the tenth edition of the vintage car rally on Sunday 21 April, organized by the Gams Club ( Gallarate Historic Cars and Motorcycles).
