There are now just over 24 hours left until the polls open Basilicata. The challenge between the centre-right and the centre-left will measure the strength of the parties also in view of the European elections which are now around the corner. On the one hand there is Vito Bardioutgoing governor and on the other Piero Marrese who in fact, after Lacerenza’s resignation, decided to accept the challenge against the (widely favored) centre-right candidate.
And so when the vote is very close, Vito Bardi, in an interview with A Sheep Daytries to trace, by making spells, a “prophecy” on the scenarios that await Lucanians after the polls are closed: “The elections in Basilicata? I’m calm because I hope I can do it. I’m the centre-right candidate who Iv and Azione also supported Will all the centre-right leaders come to Basilicata today? Did Calenda come during the election campaign, anyone who wants to come is welcome”, says Bardi, interviewed by Giorgio Lauro and Geppi Cucciari.
“I’m preparing” for today’s rally, “on a cold day, it’s three degrees, but we will heat the square. Percentage forecast? I’m superstitious. Any lucky objects? I have a croissant that has brought me so much luck for many years. I think I can go above 50%? I think I can overcome it”, concluded Bardi on Rai Radio1.
