Moda® Award “Città dei Sassi” 13th edition

“Fashion, elegance and creativity” is the theme of the 13th edition of Moda® Award “Città dei Sassi” scheduled in Matera on 3/4/5 September 2024. The award is a competition of high fashion and ready-to-wear stylists established to promote fashion artisans/creatives in total female looks from all over the world who participate in the event to highlight their artistic abilities and make themselves known through media to an international audience thanks to the presence of representatives of fashion, the press, television networks and the public. The competition aims to select and reward creators and fashion designers to promote and enhance talent through the presentation of original high fashion and prèt à porter creations on the catwalk in the city of Matera, UNESCO City and European Capital of Culture 2019.

Are allowed: graduates of academies, universities and/or state and private schools, professional designers, fashion stylists, model makers, fashion operators and self-taught people who have reached the age of 18. This year, competitors will be able to participate in one or more sections, namely: A) Moda® Alta Moda Award; B) Moda® Prét à Porter Award; B) Moda® Cinema Award. The following prizes will be awarded: 1) “Città dei Sassi” Moda® Award – 2) Moda® Prèt à Porter Award – 3) Moda® Cinema Award – 4) Moda® Critics Award. Subsequently, at the end of the registration deadline (April 30, 2024), a specially appointed technical jury will decide the finalist designers who will have the opportunity to present a collection of fashion creations, specifically Women’s High Fashion and Women’s Prét à Porter, Clothing and Accessories sections. Once the prize has been awarded, the event continues on the website https://www.premiomoda.it through a virtual showcase of the “Premio Moda®” to revive not only the evening, but also the charm of the city of the Sassi. The success of the “Città dei Sassi” Moda® Award is to be found in the ever-increasing commitment made by theAPS Association “Culture Workshop” in improving the event, increasingly appreciated by the specialized press. The awareness of having a location of the highest cultural level as the setting for the event in question, such as the city of Matera, strengthens the great attraction of professionals towards the Premio Moda®.
