Devis Cagnardi (coach) – “It is the last match of the regular season, we are playing in front of our fans and we have the will to continue the positive moment we are experiencing. Our goal is to play a solid game from a mental point of view, because it would project us in the right way towards the playoffs. It’s important to finish well and continue the work we are doing. We meet Udine, which is a team that can aspire to win and therefore there are all the conditions for our team to enter the field with the right tension and the right concentration.”

Gabriele Tarallo (player) – “We face a very strong team that has the same ambitions as us; this is why we know we have to keep our concentration high, because it will be an important match, regardless of what the standings say. We are coming from a positive moment and we want it to continue, to get to the playoffs in a positive wake.”

Notes – Curtis Nwohuocha is in doubt due to a muscle injury.

Media – The match will be visible in streaming on LNP Pass; while the radio commentary of the match will be broadcast on the FM frequencies of Radio Cantù 89.600 (Lombardy) and on the radiocantu.com website.

Giorgio Gerosa (assistant coach) – “It will be a difficult away match on a very hot pitch. Cantù is built to rise to the top flight and from my point of view it is perhaps the best team in the League in terms of physicality, talent and organisation. We must be able to react as soon as possible and stay in the game for as long as possible. We must try to control the pace, both in attack and defense. It will be our task to also try to limit the open court play of Hickey and Moraschini, and therefore all the 1-on-1s they manage to take to go to the rim or to create excellent shots with Baldi Rossi, Nikolic and all the others.”

Iris Ikangi (player) – “We are a bit worn out by the two defeats against Monferrato and Real Sebastiani Rieti. It will be a tough match against Cantù: we are playing for second place in the Red group and in my opinion it helps us prepare for the playoffs. We will try to understand where we are, despite the absences. We did a good job this year, we could have done better, but we are where we wanted to be. The teams that want to win can be seen now: it’s been a very good year and we hope to end it as best as possible.”

Notes – The health conditions of Jason Clark and Lorenzo Caroti are evaluated day by day.

Media – Live streaming on LNP Pass. Real-time updates are expected on the Facebook page and on the official Instagram profiles (@apu.udine) and X (@apudine) of Apu Old Wild West Udine.
