The lists for the next European elections must be presented by the end of the month. Let’s see the possible candidates in our region.
The countdown has begun for the presentation of the lists for the next European Championships. The deadline has been set for the end of the month and for this reason the parties must resolve the last doubts. The spotlight is naturally on the leaders, but decisions are also awaited from many symbolic exponents of the political forces.
Fratelli d’Italia could announce the candidates for the southern constituency (which also includes Abruzzo) during the party’s national programmatic conference scheduled for Pescara. In general, Giorgia Meloni’s party is thinking of siding with the mayor of L’Aquila Pierluigi blonde and Elizabeth De Blasisoutgoing MEP and recently moved from the League to FdI.
The choices of the center-right
Fratelli d’Italia aims to be the leader of the coalition once again, but within the center-right there is a challenge between Forza Italia and the League. The Northern League has not yet resolved its doubts. The idea is to focus on a man and a woman. And for the former, it cannot be ruled out that we could focus on one of Francesco De Santisregional spokesperson, and the coordinator Luigi D’Eramo.
As regards Forza Italia, however, the names have now been chosen. We are talking about the duo formed by Antonella Ballone and Eliseo Iannini. Two names that will allow Tajani’s party to play their cards to try to reach double figures.
And the centre-left?
In the M5s there is currently maximum confidentiality about the names that will also run in Abruzzo. The Democratic Party, however, thinks of Giovanni Legnini, former commissioner for reconstruction in Central Italy. This is a profile on which Schlein seems willing to focus in order to relaunch her political strength after a certainly not easy period.
Naturally, the doubts will only be resolved in the next few hours and we just have to wait to have a much clearer picture of the next European Championships.
