OLBIA. The detailed program of the 2024 edition of the San Simplicio festival which will take place was presented to the press from Friday 10th to Wednesday 15th May. Present at the meeting with journalists Don Antonio Tamponiparish priest of San Simplicio, the president of the celebrations committee Giovanni Varrucciuthe Secretary Giuseppe Asarathe deputy secretary Tiziana Asara and the treasurer Tore Asara.

The first day will open with the traditional ones fireworks at 9.30pm visible from the Benedetto Brin pier and the seafront. There mussel festival is scheduled for Saturday 11 May from 6pm while the concert of Rafon the Fausto Noce stage, will begin at 10pm.

Sunday 12th, from 4pmwill be held on 21st Palio della stella on viale Isola Bianca while at 5pmthe “Simplician conference 1720 years after his death” of the martyr Simplicius. They participate mgr. 5.30pm Piazza San Simplicio:
Departure of the flags accompanied by the “F. Mibelli”, will parade to the headquarters of the San Simplicio Celebration Committee in via Piacenza n°7 (Trav. via Andrea Doria). At the end of the medal blessing ceremony, the procession will reach the home of president Giovanni Varrucciu, in via Cosimo De Medici where honors will be paid to the flag of San Simplicio. with the Committee and the F. Mibelli musical band and will continue to the Basilica of San Simplicio.

11.30am Piazza San Simplicio:
Solemn Pontifical Mass in honor of the Patron Saint, presided over by HE the bishop mons. Roberto Fornaciari and the priests of the Diocese. The liturgical songs will be performed by the choirs of the Parish of San Simplicio.

Solemn Procession in honor of the Patron Saint with the participation of the bishop mons.
