Campania. Barone (Lega): Region blocks payment to Municipalities, businesses on their knees

“For months the Campania Region has blocked payments to municipalities and local authorities regarding public works under construction despite the competent general directorates correctly transmitting the documents to the accounting office. It is a very serious fact that is bringing hundreds of businesses and activities in the area to their knees which for some time have not collected the sums due to them with difficulty in paying hundreds of employees. It is necessary for the Campania Region to unblock payments ad horas to credit the municipalities with the amounts due and committed with financing decrees of the competent general directorates”.
