CASTELFIDARDO – On April 22nd the Confcommercio Marche Tourism General States will take place in Castelfidardo, at the Cinema Teatro Astra, under the theme “Ambassadors of the values ​​of the Marche Region”. The event will highlight the fundamental values ​​of the Marche people, such as professionalism, seriousness, honesty and quality, embodied by the hospitality entrepreneurs who act as ambassadors of the territory. The fourth edition of the event aims to promote regional identity as the only resource, with the aim of attracting national and international tourists.

Conference focus: Identity and Redevelopment

The event will be divided into two central moments: the first focused on the creation of identity as a national and regional tourism development strategy, while the second will address the theme of redevelopment as a driver for attracting new tourist flows linked to well-being and relaxation. The panel includes the participation of authoritative figures in the sector, including institutional representatives, experts in economic and academic matters, as well as managers of national tourism organisations.

Objective: Reflection and Development

Massimiliano Polacco, General Director of Confcommercio Marche, underlines the importance of the States General of Tourism as a moment of reflection and development of guidelines for a crucial sector of the regional economy. This year’s edition will focus on the peculiarities and distinctive values ​​of the Marche, confirming it as a tourist destination appreciated at a national and international level: “This year too – he explains – we propose a great moment of reflection and development of guidelines for a key sector for our economy such as Tourism. The States General of Tourism represent an opportunity for reflection on the main aspects of interest for operators in the tourism sector and on actions and strategies to be undertaken with a view to growth of the sector. At the center of the conference this year, the values ​​and peculiarities that characterize the Marche Region, giving it the well-defined identity of the Region of Wellbeing and ‘Feeling Well’, making it highly attractive for national and international tourist flows”.
