Accident between heavy vehicles, Florence-Siena closed in both directions

Accidents and traffic in the Florentine area this afternoon, Friday 19 April 2024.

The Florence-Siena motorway junction is temporarily closed in both directions, in the San Casciano area, due to an accident. Near km 50, a collision between heavy vehicles, lets you know Moving in Tuscany.

At the moment, northbound vehicles are diverted to the mandatory San Casciano sud exit, while southbound vehicles are diverted towards Impruneta-Greve in Chianti. Anas staff is on site to manage traffic and restore normal circulation as quickly as possible.

Accident also on FI-PI-LI before 5pm. In the direction of the sea they are recorded 2 km queue due to accident at km 3+400 between the Ponte all’Indiano Viaduct and Lastra a Signa.

Also on the A11, 2 km queue due to accident at km 8 between Florence West and Prato East towards Pisa. A light vehicle and a motorcycle were involved. Slowdowns for onlookers between Prato Ovest and the connection with the A1 towards Florence
