TUSCANY SNOW WEATHER. With the return of unstable conditions also in the Region, the possibility of snowfall on our hills is rekindled.
In particular we would like to point out to you for tomorrow Saturday 20th April, especially in the second part of the day until the gates of night, the risk of snow decreasing in altitude up to 1200 Apennine meters.
In fact, initially we will have flakes but only at higher altitudes while subsequently, both due to the arrival of colder air at high altitude and the presence of potentially heavier precipitation, the snow level should drop by several metres.
Possible new accumulations of up to 5/10 centimeters around 1400 meters (locally even more depending on the strength of the showers).
In the graphic we have indicated the areas at greatest risk of precipitation and we have also placed a note regarding the round snow which, as has already happened, we do not exclude for example on the highest part of the hills in the central region.
During the night towards Sunday the freezing point will be around 1100 meters with the possibility of icy sections in all areas covered with fresh snow.
Be careful because further snow events at low altitudes may occur again starting from Sunday afternoon and also in the following days with possible further accumulations on the Tuscan hills.
