“The Pomodoro for Research” is back

Olbia. The city of Olbia is preparing to enthusiastically welcome the national event “Il Pomodoro per la Ricerca”, organized by the Umberto Veronesi Association, which will be held Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st April.

The city will be an active part of this important initiative aimed at supporting research and treatment of pediatric tumors. The manager of the local banquet, Marco Buioni, has put together a solid team of volunteers ready to involve and raise awareness among the Olbia community. Their presence will be the protagonist at the Olbia Mare Shopping Center, where the banquet will be set up from 9:00 to 20:00 on both days.

With a minimum contribution of 12 euros, participants will receive a trio of cans of tomatoes and a sachet of seeds of the same vegetable, a symbol of this precious solidarity campaign. In addition to the promotional package, it will be possible to make free donations to support the cause.

The funds raised will be entirely donated to research and treatment of pediatric tumors, an area of ​​extreme importance for the health and well-being of young people. “We thank in advance all those who will come to visit us to contribute to cancer research and treatment”, declares Marco Buioni, inviting the Olbia community to participate in large numbers to give their support to this noble cause.
