Celeste Lanzoni, a first year student at the Bassi-Burgatti State Institute of Technical Education in Cento, was awarded for a communication and awareness project on the respect for water resources. The competition is promoted by the Valore Acqua per l’Italia Community of The European House-Ambrosetti, made up of 37 partners among the main companies and institutions, and is carried out in collaboration with the 27 high schools relating to the ecological and digital transition.

The challenge involved the creation of a communication project aimed at three possible target audiences: children, adolescents, adults. Celeste Lanzoni, who was awarded the prize for the ‘Adolescents’ section, presented the ‘I am…’ project to an audience of entrepreneurs and national representatives of institutions. Through a language of words and images, she talked about water and its complex relationship with man.
Benedetta Brioschi, partner The European House–Ambrosettiunderlined that “Celeste, like Davide and Luca, the winning students of the other categories, has created work of the highest level which demonstrates, in addition to the excellent work done with her class, the profound awareness of young people regarding the issues of environmental sustainability : precisely from a research we conducted on 5 thousand high school students in Italy it emerges that almost 9 out of 10 are worried about the effects of climate change, and in Emilia-Romagna, after the effects of last May’s flood, over 90 % of young people fear for their future, while in general climate change falls from third to sixth place in the ranking of Italy’s main problems”.
