The Neighborhoods Center for Common Goods of the Social Policy Sector activated the project The city that breathes: knowing and experimenting to raise citizens’ awarenessof different age groups, on environmental issues and to raise awareness of the territory of the different neighborhoods (urban forests, wild meadows and urban gardens).

The initiative is implemented with the collaboration of Teatro Itinerante, Circolo Vedo Verde Legambiente Cremona, Città Rurale – Urban Bees, Kairos and the Educational Policies Sector within the Childhood Time project.

The main theme of the project consists of promotion of knowledge of the urban environmentstarting from the experience that can be had of it during the course of a normal day.

Starting from Monday 22 April, green walks will be carried out with girls and boys, parents, families and anyone interested, with informative/educational moments to increase knowledge of the urban environment present in the neighbourhoods, starting from basic, simple and easy to understand, relating to the main sources of pollution and on behaviors that are aware and respectful of the natural environment, in order to acquire them in the normal performance of one’s daily actions. At the end of the walks there will be a snack for everyone.
