Peace: Florence, on 24 April the young people of Rondine at the conference “The real enemy is war”

“The real enemy is war”: this is the theme of the meeting promoted by the young people of Rondine Cittadella della Pace which will take place on 24 April, (11.30 am), at the Salone dei Cinquecento, in Palazzo Vecchio in Florence. On this occasion, a young Israeli and a young Palestinian, a Russian girl and a Ukrainian girl, will talk about their coexistence with the ‘enemy’ with the moderation of the director of the QN newspapers, Agnese Pini. Together with them, a representative for all the other young people of Rondine will bring the voice of every forgotten conflict. The conclusions will be entrusted to the mayor of the Municipality of Florence, promoter of the event, Dario Nardella, and to the founder and president of Rondine Cittadella della Pace, Franco Vaccari. Rondine’s young people come from countries involved in conflicts and tensions, from Europe to Africa, from Asia to America and their experience is the beating heart of the Citadel of Peace. “Courageous young people who do not give in to the logic of war, who have faith in discovering a person, a friend, in what they had always seen as someone to hate and avoid” the organizers report.
