Beyond 13 million euros for the winemakers of Emilia-Romagna who want to uproot and replant their vineyards. To establish it a regional tender aimed at Emilia-Romagna agricultural companies for the restructuring and reconversion of vineyards for the 2024/25 campaign, suitable for the production of DOC and IGP wines, thus enhancing the quality wines linked to the territory.
The measure, which is part of the National Strategic Plan of the CAP 2023-2027, has among its objectives that of strengthen identity of productions and take another step forward in the operation of renovation and modernization of vineyards, as well as encouraging the use of mechanization of cultivation by lowering the production costs of companies, often small in size, and increasing competitiveness on the markets.
Requests can be submitted, through the Siag information system made available by Agrea, until 1pm on 14 June 2024.
The announcement
The announcement increases the contribution unit that can be requested by winemakers by approximately 33% compared to last year, simplifies procedures in particular in the final reporting phase of the completed project and improves the sustainability of the sector, allowing the reuse of support structures and reducing the use of fertilizers, encouraging the use of soil analysis.
Individual or associated agricultural entrepreneurs, managers of vineyard areas or those who have a replanting authorization can access the call and apply for financing which aims to provide answers to the different production realities of the territory, from the hills to the plains.
Are expected different types of interventions: varietal reconversion (i.e. the replanting of a different vine variety of greater oenological or commercial value); the restructuring of the vineyards (understood as the relocation of the vineyard to a more favorable position or the replanting with changes to the type of training or planting pattern); the replanting of vineyards following compulsory grubbing up for phytosanitary reasons.
All interventions for which the contribution is requested can only begin on a date following the submission of the support application: the works must be completed by 10 June 2025 or 10 June 2026 if they require the advance upon presentation of a surety guarantee.
