The first project for the construction of a new photovoltaic system to bring clean energy to the territory of Cremonawhich will be used by approximately 140 users.
The project of the new photovoltaic system
The Municipality of Cremona decides to invest in a new photovoltaic system for clean energy to be distributed to the various users, necessary for the green development of the city. The proposal started from Deputy Mayor Andrea Virgiliosee theMunicipal Administration in collaboration with AEM.
The tender for the assignment of the works for the new photovoltaic park that will be built within the Service Center in via Postumia, owned by AEM. The entire area is currently dedicated to vehicle parking but, thanks to theinvestment of 1,500,000.00 euros, will be used for the installation of the new photovoltaic system.
The project will be implemented for the benefit of approximately 140 public users which will save approximately a thousand euros per year. The estimated power is 800 kWpcapable of producing renewable energy up to 1,000 MWh/year. The users connected to the primary cabin “Cremona Est” they will be able to connect “virtually” to use energy.

The realization of this project is made possible thanks to the provisions of European legislation, which allow you to activate the CACER configuration – Individual self-consumption of ‘remote’ renewable energy using the distribution network.
The power of the system is intended for public userssuch as offices, schools, public buildings, the energy will be supplied through the contribution of the GSE for a period of approximately 20 years.
