“Do we still know how to think? Reflection as a tool for those who educate and those who grow”
Start Monday 22 Aprilat 6 pm with a dialogue on peace and war between Paolo Cascavilla And Franco Salcunithe cycle of dialogues entitled “Do we still know how to think? Reflection as a tool for those who educate and those who grow”. The meeting precedes the show Aristotle’s Peace scheduled in the theater for the evening. Three other appointments will follow on April 29th, May 6th and 13th. The meetings are dedicated to some of the central themes of contemporary reflection: in addition to peace and war, we will also discuss the natural in relation to the artificial, the value that the material and spiritual dimensions have in human life, the existential value of the experiences of love and loss. Four events aimed at educators, teachers, students, cultural and social workers, parents and anyone interested. Among the speakers: Paolo Cascavilla, Pasquale Marziliano, Antonio Giardino, Rosa Porcu, Franco Salcuni, Stefania Marrone.
The meetings, promoted by the Bottega degli Apocrypha and Legambiente FestambienteSud within the framework of the project Cultivation growthsupported by Impresa Sociale Con i Bambini as part of the fund to combat educational poverty, represent a training moment aimed at the educational community to reflect, build awareness on the changes taking place in contemporary society, promote reflection and thought as tools for managing everyday life, understanding how thought, reflection and meta-reflection end up being the most powerful tools for triggering educational processes of change.
